we have a super walmart. its nice. bitches go there. I've seen also bitches go to target too. I only go to target becasue they have more entertainment ---- than walmart. Meijer is were its at though. Plus it much closer. The ghettos place i see is Krogers. Giant Eagle is coming up though. They have a nice selections of low cost food now.

wal-mart & sam's club create so many jobs its unbelievable. plus the billions and billions of buisness they do everyyear. importing and exporting goods, so much tax revenue.
plus, with goods bein cheap there that would be much more expensive at a smaller store. it raises the quality of life of people who are poor/middle class
Sure maybe they create jobs, but they destroy them too, and if you think working at Wal-Mart is an acceptable job, your standards are obviously lower than a lot of people's. So basically you're saying it's okay if Wal-Mart is one of the five places you could work at since they basically just monopolized everything.
And I'm calling bullshit on your statement that them being so cheap that it raises the quality of people who are poor or in the middle class. I work in a grocery store, and I've made a point out of it to see if Wal-Mart is actually any cheaper any time one of my friends drags me into that god forsaken place. The prices are pretty much exactly the same besides a few cents going either way.
People that are poor have access to Link cards any way, and they decide how big your Link card should be based on your needs.
And you think importing goods is the thing to do? Yes, outsourcing is good
If you like Wal-Mart so much why don't you hop in your mini van and drive up there right now instead of try to paint us a pretty picture why Wal-Mart is so great.

a lot of people believe that way, but it isnt always true.
you're saying the 200 jobs at a wal-mart would be made up by mom and pop. so there would be about 100 little stores employing about 2 people in a small town all doing retail and grocery. i dont think so. there would be one store, that doesnt carry ---- and is very small employing 6 people.
when wal-mart came to the town i live close to it closed down one store that was extremely overpriced, the city council wouldnt let in a superstore so the local safeway would be saved, so now people still have to be gouged by safeway when they could get everything cheaper at wally world.
why would people go to wal-mart instead of mom and pop when it came to town? because its way cheaper for the same ----.
this town has boomed since wal-mart came in. and is still growing rapidly unfortunatle. people come from all the surrounding areas to go to wal-mart which brings buisness to other places in town, gas, food, ext...
this is capatalism, a big huge store offering bulk for cheap is a better buisness model than a tiny store with no merchandise and high prices.
