Having a nice place is far more important than having a nice car. Get something reliable and is good for you and worry about getting a nice place. It would suck to get rid of a nice truck like that but if your priority is to have a nice place than buy a house and invest your money in something that appreciates in value unlike a car. and BTW my car is paid off

yeah, I've got a car payment...on several cars
508 on my truck
330 on my wife's car
98 on my 98 ex (interest only loan until i sell it)
109 on a car that i just sold an haven't paid off yet
but I have the hatch paid for...one payment and it was done.

I can afford my truck, I just don't want to. With a payment of $550/month and gas at $2.29/gallon and 9mpg I'm paying way more than I want to be paying on a vehicle.
