I don't see how not buying gas for one day is going to change anything. Yeah sure they're not going to make any money the 19th but on the 20th they're going to make it all back. Maybe if I read the first post I would understand better but I ain't reading all that ----

They were talkin about this ---- this morning on the radio. Its a real thing. People are going to do it. It has worked before, and its obvious that the word is getting out. I am not going to buy gas on the 19th. i'll be broke by then anyways...

I think a better solution would be to just not buy from ONE main gas company... guess what happens when you dont buy from that one gas company? They drop their prices... the instant the market floods to that company everyone else loses customers and they drop theirs....
well this is all theoretical... and probably wont happen... but shiet happens.

Well over here (the Netherlands) we pay $6.14 for a gallon (premium) . On the dutch car forums there are threads like this once in a while, but there are still no public actions . So my guess: nothing will happen may 19th.
