Hey man do what everyone is saying, get the frame fixed properely or you're looking for trouble. Where in Canada are you I have some of the parts you need but I'm not shipping. I agree with everyone else too, junk it, you can sell enought parts to pay the car off and you will be far better off. I just did that to my sunfire and it was in great shape and was a 97

dude just shut the ---- up if u dont want to help the guy..
back to the topic.. dude just take it to a body shop and have them line ur frame back up then bolt ur parts on it.. thats the ez way of doing it
whoa dude, i was just referring to the fact tha tairtonics is the only person that i know of on here with a sunfire. if you bend the frame in your car, it is almost certain that an insurance company will total it.

what happens is this guy were to fix this car, and hit a family member of your's and they happened to be badly injured by the accident? yeah, he'd be an idiot because it wasn't fixed properly, and you'd be mad.

don't do the ---- yourself, it will no longer be safe to drive, the frame will always be weak in the spot where it bent.

oh and chevy, ---- YOU BUDDY

you could always just pull the air bag fuse in the fuse box (i believe its a 20amp one)..... the air bag sensors are under the pasanger seat and under the hood latch. they will be marked in yellow... easy to find.

Default success story!

thanks everyone for there advice and help.
the good part of this story is i got the frame bent back pro, and i didnt blow the airbags adding to her problems. i did suggest a trade-in on a newer j-body (she cant drive the honda, that would give us a bad name) and will see how things go. hopefully this weekend primer and paint...

anyways, wasnt trying to be a dick, just wanted some advice, thanks everyone

I know this is generally a honda oriented forum, but the name "homemadeturbo" implies no brand specifics at all....

Also, ive seen a lot of honda body-work or non-engine related posts too. No biggie.

The sunfire (assuming its a gt) has a 150 hp 2.4 liter with 155 ft lbs of torque (torque, for those of you with stock hondas and a lot of opinions, is much more fun than sticker hp).

Now, its not bad for stock. But airtonics or turboz24guy can tell you how fun this motor is boosted. At only 5 psi it would put down impressive numbers, properly tuned.

At 12 psi, with Hahn racecraft's new kit on an ecotec powered cavalier (same as the sunfire), a 3000 lb car mind you, they ran 12 second quarter miles with stock internals and slicks. But its 12 psi. Thats it. Hahn is now using the Cavalier instead of Neon to showcase.

Just a little education. flame away
