I'll deal with SCCA racers for transmission work for now on. Just got a call by referal to work on a Y8 tranny from a SSC Showroom Stock, fix third gear. install 4.9 FD, so simple overhaul. I quoted him $700-800 total, he was fine with that.

GearX FD @ $525 retail (I'm a dealer, alot less for me)
Honda parts @ $60. Labor @ $150, two roundtrips to Columbus OH.


Also you want drama, you should hear about BOMBCRU and HondaBob/5speed4life, both D-series scammers.

One scammer got screwed by another scammer, it is priceless.

still havent got the title but someone helped me get unbanned (thanks) so I was able to get address and all other personal info out of my email inbox on d-series.org, ill try to pm the mods tommorow to see if they can do anything
