Default diesel in an s10

just wondering. i am sort of miseducated on this ----. okay, i know people put 6.2 diesel engines in place of the 350 in that chassis. i also know people put 350's in s10's. i am wondering if it is not too hard to swap a 6.2 into a s10. ir maybe even a 12v cummins. just wondering what swaps are availible for the s10 chassis that are diesel.

Not going to happen with a 6.5 or a cummins. Look up the wieght of these engines. Look for a 4 cyl cummins or detriot ect.

i've worked on tons of cummins trucks and those engines are ------- huge
dudes pull off the front clip or just pull the motor to do stupid ---- like timing case gaskets and thats on medium dutys like 3500/4500s
never gonna work in an s10
ever seen the size of a 5.9 turbo intercooler.... ------- huge
