Default Didn't pass track inspection

I went to the track this last weekend and didn't pas inspection because I mounted my battery in the rear and didn't install an external kill switch on the back of my car. Have any of you had this problem and how did you mount the switch? This was at PIR in Portland, Oregon.

They don't check in FL unless is an all out race car. I have my battery in the rear also, no problems, no kill switch. Of course my car looks like ---- too.

yes they do, if your battery is not behind a firewall of some sort from the passager compartment of the car, YOU MUST HAVE a
and easily visble and accesable kill switch on the vehicle.

all 3 tracks in fl that i've been to follow that rule.

They maybe should follow the rules, but doesn't mean that the people working there are doing a good job

yeah i got yelled at for that ----...at 2 differnet tracks. one said if he ever seen me there agian like that he would send my *** home, made sure i wasnt in his tech line last time still havent fixed it... the last time i was down there the guy asked where my battery was (as he stairs into my engine bay) i said the trunk, his attention span must be pretty short cuz he sarted asking about why i hadnt done the driver signin, told me to do that and started writing my numbers on my car...then i ran a 13.5 with no helmet

In NC unless you are a full race car, you dont go through a tech inspection. (full race car=faster than 12sec)

Alright I'm gonna install one of those gay *** kill switches now. Does it have to kill the whole car or just the battery. You can disconnect the battery and the car will still run, so I'm wondering if just the battery is good enough. It's right there and I don't feel like running a bunch of wires.

I've been to 2 tracks and they have never checked my little honda, they do check the all out race cars. I don't have one, and they have never asked me to check my engine so, who cares.
