Default Depressed

So my coworker that i've worked with for the last 4 years quit today without anyone having a notice. Helluva guy, do anything for anyone, good carpenter, made everyone elses jobs easier, never got excited. Me and him were a tag team since day 1, we'd run around do all of the jobs, take our time and do excellent work. Pretty tored up about it.

if he didnt give any reason then its probably a personal reason why he had to quit. maybe a family issue or something. sucks anyways.

that sounds right to me. if he was a good friend/co-worker, he would have mentioned something about another prospect i'd think. it is sure going to make your job a lot less fun so i can understand your mood. try to look on the bright side though, perhaps it will give you the opportunity to mentor someone and train them how you want them to work.

Well, the last 2 days he supposadly had the Flu.. Which was odd, becuase he NEVER misses work.. and when I seen him he didn't really seem sick, just tired. And today, he calls my boss and tells him that he got a job with Crane, doing maintenence. Which i'm sure pays well, but for me it would be hard to quit a job of 4 years making good money and starting over. I havent even talked to him yet, I kind of feel like he's avoiding me.

Be a friend, call him. Doesn't answer leave a voicemail and tell him to give you a call when he gets a chance.

Haha :P

I'm one of 2 employees at my company right now. This other guy has been there for like 9+ years and I have been there 8+ years. He's the kinda guy that will take the fucked up job and leave you the easy job without even saying anything. I always try to go out of my way to do the ---- that I know he doesn't really want to do because he's so cool about doing ---- he knows I don't want to do. It's always nice working with someone like that. It makles showing up to work that much better. I've worked with PLENTY of people that were just too ------- stupid/lazy/ignorant to work with.

On the bad side, the guy bitches nonstop about everything and is a complete ---- to the boss. That's all I ever hear about is those 2 bitching at each other.
