Man most of those people on H-T are the kind of people who buy turbo kits and get someone to install it for them. Probably don't know how to put on an intake. If they even get turbo kits. I bet there is a 1% population that have HMT set ups. Those are all people from here. They know more about body kits and JDM then power it seems to me whenever i read posts.

I know. I think its funny that they assume we would go crazy over Full-race stuff. In reality I don't like FR stuff becuase I think its poorly developed. I'm sorry but 8 gauge is NOT a material to make a good manifold from.

HT also thooght bisimoto/anr headers were the ---- till I dropped the line on the thickness of the material used. I couldnt believe it when my buddy got one. Its was obviuos to me that it was way to thin for the abuse of driving/racing

Some people still like that racing tinfoil construction... my only bitch is that between metal thickness and ceramic coating on Rob's AN-R, when it cracked at the collector it was about impossible to fix.

I was okay with a TIG at that time, sure there were better, but jeez. The ceramic was next to impossible to clean off, and the metal sublimated from solid to gas with no liquid stage inbetween to hit with filler rod - or maybe the header had worn away and that was the carbon buildup acting as a header; carbon has no liquid state, it sublimates solid<-->gas at it's MP.

I dunno, ego and sarcasm aside it could probably have been done with a copper chill block on the other side of the weld. In reality, should have just taken it to Rhinehart Racing anyway, they build $1400 headers for the V8 drag cars and can weld the thin gauge stuffs in their sleep.
