Decent Work PC?
So I'm shopping for a new PC, and looking at www.tigerdirect.ca for the most part. I barely play any games so soundcards, videocards, and optimum performance is not a priority. Cost IS a priority, 1GB of memory would be nice and 2.2+GHZ. I'm no expert so give me some advice!
Here's the one's I'm looking at:
1) Acer Aspire T180-EA350B AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2GHz / 512MB DDR2 / 160GB SATA / DL DVD±RW/ Integrated nVidia GeForce 6100 / Gigabit LAN / Flash Reader / Windows Vista Home Basic
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...586&CatId=2627
2) Acer Acerpower FH-EC3520C Intel Celeron D 352 3.20GHz / 512DDR2 / 80GB SATA / Dual Layer DVD±RW / Intel GMA 3000 Graphics / Gigabit LAN / Windows Vista Business (+1 for Business version!)

3) Acer Aspire T660 Intel Celeron D 352 3.2GHz / 512MB DDR2 / 160GB SATA / DL DVD±RW Drive / Gigabit LAN / Flash Reader / Windows Vista Home Basic

Thanks for the help.

Re: Decent Work PC?
Uhm, if you go to Circuit Shitty or Best Buy, etc, and shop the open box sales you should be able to get something in the $350-400 range with what you want.
Also, tossing bricks through office building windows is a time honored way to get nice computers on a budget.
