You have to be a real *** monkey to blow one of those up....i was ------- around with my sisters last night. In fourth at maybe 90-100ish and some jerk off popped into my lane in front of me, so i slammed it into 3rd cause i didn't realize i was going that fast and the rpms shot right up to 75ish 8 and nothing happened.....if i did that and nothing happened this guy must smoke rock.
Moral of the story:

Ha, can you say "long block" lol, I'd take it to the dealer, Acura had a problem with the valve springs in the RSX's, to weak. Obviously he miss-shifted but I have read people getting their engines replaced under factory warranty. Supposivly the patch is a updated s2000 valve springs.
It's definatly worth a shot before you rip the ****** apart in your driveway, lol..
