Actually, cubans get sent back just the same. There's only a loophole about making it to land w/o aide of someone. AKA, if you float your *** the 90 miles from cuba to key west and make it to land w/o a powerboat or getting caught by the coast guard, then they let you stay. Iono if they still allow that though.

See, you have the answers, you just can't put them together. Americans were doing jobs for say $15/hour. Then 100 illegals came and all lowballed until 2 of them finally landed the same job for $3/hour. It's not the job that Americans "won't do", it's the job that Americans won't do for $3/hour. If the people in question weren't coming from a 3rd world country than Capitalism would be the culprit, but it's the 3rd world country that fucked it up.


Illegals that work under the table (that would be all of them not using fake SSN's (which is another crime)) don't pay taxes. Any taxes that illegals do pay COULD NEVER EVER EVER NEVER touch the amount of money we pay out for them to be here. It just won't ever happen, so nobody gives a ---- if an illegal pays sales tax when he buys chiclet.


People that pay income taxes are either using fake SSN's, or they are legal (which leaves them out of the conversation anyway). People that make less than $15,000 a year pay hardly anything in taxes, so what you're saying is that at worst, an illegal makes more than $15,000 that works with you? If so, than he should feel fortunate. He won't have that job when the next 12 million get here to lowball his job. Keep holding signs in the streets stupid.

oh yeah and this bullshit about our NATIONAL ANTHEM in spanish?? ---- that! this is america, speak english!!! our national anthem should be sung in english. Do we sing the mexican anthem (if there is one, haha) in english in mexico? no! I think to become a citizen you need to pass a high school engilsh class...i should have to learn spanish to live in the UNITED STATES. when i encounter a person in my day to day business and they approach me or i have to approach thema nd they cant understand me cuz they only speak spanish, i just walk away, i dont need to be hassled in my homeland with a foreign language...

The way i look at it is if people come here legal they have desire to become part of the culture. My dad was immigrant from the philippines. Came here legally,learned english,graduated college. Its not that hard. You look at people from other parts of the world who have come here asia,europe,africa they all adapt and become what is the basis of this country.


When was the last time you saw a chinese guy not know an ounce of english. He may butcher the language but atleast he has tried even though he knows people make fun of his accent.
