I didn't notice either, spenser is a sneaky fool.
I have my head bolts torqued 20lbs over specs, they aren't going anywhere. just torque until the wrench clicks, or if you have a ghetto *** one torque until the needle points to where you need to go. and remember, 10 Nm isn't ----, I snapped off one of the bolts on the cam retainers because I couldn't hear the torque wrench click so I kept going.

sorry, I didn't have a digital camera available either of the 2 times I took off and put back my head (the first time I fucked up so I had to try again, you know how we do). I'll definetely find my camera for an article on how not to adjust your tappets, since I have one sounding againg and I've adjusted them at leat 5 times.

Yes theres several things you should do first, #1 is realized your either very luck or really fucked. You should never be able to just go in and retighten ur head bolts after they were tight and got loose, chances are your gasket already warped or got eat up somewhere... but not for sure. Anyways get a new radiator cap, drain the radiator, and bleed the motor right near where the distributor is, theres a little bleeder valve like the one for the brakes, find it and bleed it.
My advice.. Give it a few weeks, get a new headgasket and some copper spray, and go at it, Believe me u dont wanna boost with a fucked head gasket

thats exactly what i'm thinking too Mike... i can only imagine how ------- disapointed i would be at myself if i spent the money on new turbo stuff only to find myself too broke to replace new head bolts and gasket. Slowly but surely... it will all come together...
it probably won't hurt replacing the radiator cap too...
