----!! what are my options?? can I call a locksmith and have them replaced/re-cut?? or do I have to go to a chevy dealer and take care of it that way?? the truck is an 84 Chevy Silverado...and since its old school, it has TWO seperate keys, one for the door and one for the ignition...I lost the ignition key....----, I'm pissed!!!!!!!!

you need that old school ---- where when u whistle it beeps for your keys. try a lock smith there cheaper

go buy another ignition thinga ma jigger, bought one for a civic a while back, it was like 20 some odd dollars from pep boys.

Lost my key hiking in the mountains (hole in pocket) sucks.
I had the key code tag and locksmith made me TWO keys. The dealership will charge you to look up the code. Call a locksmith he will know your best options. BTW when I went to get my car at the trail head someone had put my found key in the trail log box. Now I have 3 keys
