GTS is so cheap because its RWD not 4wd i think, and all the people in japan are hella into the GTR 4wd versions. but that Rx7 looked pretty good

i will let everyone know about what engines are over there.

just so everyone knows, on this parts selling thing....HMT will get first dibs. what i think im gonna do is, gather a ---- load of parts, and make one thread "this is what I have for sale" then its first come first serve, just like any other thread in the for sale section. requests will be taken, but on a secondary basis.

when i was over in oki. i was driving a hummer from my base to another base in a convoy, and this ------- sick *** fairlady came drifting around a blind turn like a pro, that mother ****** scared the ---- out of me man. hey frank a lot of the roads are pretty good surface but unless your on the oki. express way its kinda hard to really open your car up. its really hilly with real nasty turns, there is some sick tunnels that run through mountains kinda like gran turismo you'll have fun.

the used cars are cheap because you need to invest a lot to get it "road worthy". every car in japan has to go through a very meticulous inspection every 2 years. i am lead to believe that the car must be in stock trim for inspection. if the car didn't come from the factory with it, it can't pass the inspection. this even includes window tint! when i was there i was told that the people driving these car will return them back to stock trim every 2 years for the inspection. :P i saw a ton of used cars for sale at really good prices.

i've also had stuff shipped from japan. i guess they are pretty sticky on some things, but my parts arrived in a timely manner.
