Well if you want run the y5 head, that's fine but in reality its a 12 valve head untill vtec kick in.If you want to go fast swap the head.The y8 head is a 16 valve head all the time.Just get a egr blocker.The p28 does not read a egr valve.

Don't bother swapping heads... Y8 head casting is the same as the y5. The difference lies in the cam and rocker assembly. Instead, swap to obd-1, and buy the parts to boost it.

you dont need any engine management to run obd2 turbo. the obd2 civics were fixed to read boost and add more fuel and the correct ignition changes because of the new and improved flux capacitor readings. your set dude keep the y5 head and boost it!
