Default d15b alternator

well i just went to a honda meet up and before i got home my tach speedometer stopped workin and my battery light went on and a weird smell started commming from my alternator. before i had accidently tapped my oil feed line to the bolt on the alternator and it sparked. so im guess if it was that that my car wouldnt start n e more? i jumped the car and it starts but i let it charge for a little while the car wont turn back on? sounds like a fuse problemn to maybe? i just got done doin a brake cylinder change and brake pads oil change and tire rotation on my wifes car. so im pretty tired and not thinkin staright. any insite would be helpful.

i didnt know wether to place in tech or ne thing since its not turbo related or hybrid or fuel managment...sorry well my oil line runs from the back of the block and the line is pretty long so it goes around the alternator pass the dizzy pass the radiator and then into the turbo.

Sounds like a battery or Altenator. Have them checked at a parts store. I dont see why it would be a fuse problem.

with the car running, pull the positive cable. if the car dies, it is the alternator.
