Default d15 mini me $150, good deal?

hmm thinkin about picking this up, dudes asking 150 for it. he lives close by so i would go pick it up. i would want this as a project to build up for boost, but not sure if its worth it cuz a d16a6 would be way easier to find parts for to turbo. Might part out if you guys think its worth it?

1990 D15B2 block ( CRX DX ) with 80,000 miles
- D16Z6 head that has been all cleaned up really nice
- D16A6 ( CRX Si ) intake manifold, with ported out CRX Si throttle body
- Brand new Head Gasket
- Brand new Timing Belt
- CRX Si PM6 ECU
- CRX Si flywheel

z6 heads alone can go for $150.. Given, that's on ebay, but yeah, I'd grab it if it's in good condition just to have an extra motor.

Definately worth the $150! Pick that up man. I probably spent in total about $250-300 for my mini-me headswap. I still have yet to install the bitch.

doesn't a mini me up the compression? cuz i'm going turbo for sure on the d16a6, and if i were to swap that head on i don't wanna blow up.

Yes, it bumps the compression up to around 10:1 You can boost on that with no problems if you're tuned right. My friend John is running a y8 mini me at around 10.8:1 comp pushing 7 psi with a t25. He runs uberdata, but anything that will let you tune it will work. The bonus to higher compression is that you have more low end and aren't completely dependant on boost to make power.
