I dont considered a 13 sec car slow but thas just me

13 seconds for a stock street car is not slow by any means. For something you take to the track, yeah..not the greatest. As for the LS in the gutted hatch or rex or whatever it was rockin the 13's, all i got to say is the guy in the sti prolly doesn't know how to launch then. Those def. aren't a car to rev up and dump...you gotta slip the clutch out of the hole in order to get all 4 wheels to grip right. One of my friend's just got a new Evo 9, and i got the chance to run it against my buddy with a 91 LS Hatchback with a decent amount of work done...no contest off the line when done right...Evo stomped all over it, and in top end too. But i do agree with you guys...for the $42,000 he paid for it, he could've done so much more with his b16 hatchback.

same here, especially for a 4 door sedan than you can drive everyday and not worry about reliability

exactly 13 sec stock isn't slow..and its not like you can't make it faster either. And I know its 30k for the car but obviously subaru is doing fine with that price because people who can afford it still buy it and they havn't droped or stop making the car

as far as the civic and sti arguement i see it that its anyone race modding wise. Its just whoever put more work or money into the car. Stock vs stock wise yeah he will beat you but its not impossible for a modded civic to beat an sti.
