Yup, and that's why Daniel's stock LS swap into the gutted 90 DX hatchcrap, riding 13" steelies and dry rotted rubber, pulled them a half car off the line and then from a roll consistently. Same with the slow ****** Evos, and misc older DSMs. No farced induction needed.

STI's are not "slow as ----" they just arent drag cars.

Not everything is built for the sole purpose of going down a 1/4 stretch fast. These are cars built for rally racing, just like the evo. And even still, with some modification, will still smoke most of the cars on this site.

Sounds like old school hating to me.

I am not saying STI's are slow cause would only mean that my car is only a little faster, but I wooped the ---- out of one of them racing on the autobahn, we went at it 4 times, and I got him all 4 times, the only thing he got me on was displaying his power, I did a shitty burnout and he did a donut around 5 times. them we too the streets, I got him on take off, and top end. and I was at 11 psi running rich

By no means they are super car, but they are very quick on short distance passing/acclerating, with un-----------ing-belivable grip u could never imgaine gonig stright AND sideway. yet it is a 4 door, carry 5 passanger and have all the regular function of a sedan, STOCK. first and second gear does pull like a rocket but thats about it, at higher speed it feels like a regular 250ish horse v6 out there.
BTW, Those of you have never driven them or at least ride in them should back off from saying how crappy of a car it is :P

sadly most of them owner have never driven faster cars and assuming they can "beat" supercar like M5/covette/e55/SLR/motorcycle and such LOL

I`ve driven two 270awhp WRX and rode in one, let me tell u they are not as fast as u think, doesn' t feel any faster then my z6turbo.
oh but i did rode in a 475awhp evolution, THAT`s plenty quick enough, the speedo just shoots up like it is the rpm.
