i guess i look at it at a diffferent angle only because i am chinese and i heard all these crap form my grams everyday.

What do you call it?
Third generation .ca immigrant, I take it? If you don't mind my asking, how strong is your cultural/ethnic identity? Anyone your generation speak Chinese, Mandarin or other dialect?
There are next to no asians locally, I'm kinda sorta clueless. Dirty white trash Irish tend to have a pretty strong cultural identity... inasmuch as we have any identity after being raised by television.

Grow up in hong kong and came here 1998 
Problem is hong kong was under Britishs control until 1997, The only way to learn about chinese history is from chinese history class in skool ( which i am not so good at
) so i don`t really know THAT much about history and all. My cultural identity is pretty weak if you ask me 
. I don`t see myself fighting for any country or anyone.
