the brake lights must be all red here in missouri, esp if you are near stl, my buddy got a ticket for a clear third brake light on a s10. it was really gay anyway.. when he stepped on the brakes it looked like he was goin in reverse. they said it had to be a red cover not just a red bulb.

you could paint your taillights silver but that would look gay and make them useless, seriously where do ppl come up with these ideas? like painting anything you can unbolt in your interior a bright *** color... does it realy look good to you

i keep my tail lights in my glove box.

I guess this guy just wants his car to look flush. Like the dudes and their Chevy's that shave off the tail lights and put some leds in between the cracks of the tailgate and rollpan (? is that what they're called, well basically a trunks bumper). I actually saw a sol with their tail lights lightly coated with the green metallic paint. It was alright, but not something I would do, I'd keep to red. Too much work to make t look like the color of your car and not have it too dark. Ack after thinkin of that i like stock, no work involved.

I think your buddy got screwed. Red cover w/ white bulb or white cover w/ red bulb.. whats the difference, both emit red light!

the cop was an -------, talking about tickets for exhaust that was too loud and it being too low to the ground. (it was neither)

totally clear taillights are illigal even with red bulbs here, thats what all the cops say(plus they look like ---- usually).

most cops wont pull you over for them though. but they can, just like not having a front plate, most dont care but it just gives them an excuse to pull you over.

Listen up ******, if you want to call people ricers, go to honda-tech not hmt. He had a question about it, if you paint them right they look damn good. Are you calling hmt rice? Because im pretty sure there are many other members of this site that have painted their tail lights. And i think Jeff is one of them.(sorry if im mistaking you for someone else that did it jeff) So are you calling all of us ricers? Go ---- yourself buddy, don't come on here with 30 ------- posts saying how gay something is.

I have myself a pair of 50/50 red/black tails on my del sol. Sent them away to SmokinLights.net and they did an amazing job. What they blacked out is just the amber turn signal top half including the reverse lights, the only prob is my turn sig's are hard to see during the day. Usually, I have to polish them up with a rag before I head out so the dirt and dust doesnt reflect the sun and make it even worse.

Only problem is, it costed $100
