im always thinking of new songs that would be fun to play on gh2 so this would be great. i dont really like the idea of having to open my case all the time so im just going to buy the chip. i called abunch of local computer shops to see if they would install the chip for me but nobody will so i guess i need to brush up on my soldering skills. also if i can remember the site i found they have 40g hard drives for dirt cheap. its an auction and some had less than an hour and were still like 1.99 with 15 shipping. so that and the adapter deal for the internet and a chipped ps2 ill be in guitar heaven. any song i want lol 40g's of songs for guitar hero is a lot of songs.

You can use HDAdvance and a pc hard drive to put copied games on your ps2 without a modchip. I havn't messed with custom songs in GH2 yet but I've looked into it and have 2 of the programs to use. There is also a Youtube vid showing how to do it.
If you have any ?'s about HDAdvance pm me, its not that bad swaping the HD back and forth between the ps2 and your pc.
