custom songs for guitar hero 2
ok well i was going to add this to the other guitar hero thread but its kinda off topic and i didnt think i would get many responses in someone elses thread so here we go. i was searching for guitar hero tips and tricks and came across scorehero.com and they have a write up about how to add your own songs to guitar hero 2. you need a chipped or modded older (big one) ps2 and about 8 different programs you can get from torrents. you also need the mp3 of whaever song you want to put on there. and you have to have a dvd burner drive. i was pretty interested so i tried to register and when i logged in it told me i was banned for not following the rules. lol didnt even get into the forums yet and already banned. well now im curious as hell and want to know how to do it. i searched google for a while and could only find the first two or three steps. you have to have gh2 and put it in your dvd drive, the copy it to your comp. then open gh....exe file. thats as far as i found. im wondering if its just burning a new copy of gh2 with the new song on it. also i dont know ---- about torrents but i see people on here talk about them all the time so maybe someone can help me out there too. if scorehero.com wasnt keeping this ---- like top secret i would know already lol.

i need to figure out how to mod a ps2 first, i know you gotta buy a chip and then solder it in but i dont know what chip to get or where to solder it. lots more research the do i guess.
