i've had my eg for almost a year now...and it was good to me for the first couple months...until i bought some used fat fives from a local shop and it all went downhill after that...the day that i put on the fat fives i got into a wreck...i was on my way to work and i was on the interstate when an 18 wheeler came off the exit...rode the emergency lane...then merged rite into the passenger side of my car...i couldn't switch lanes cuz there was another 18 wheeler rie beside me...couldn't really speed up cuz there was a car right in front of me...i couldnt really claim insurance cuz i was driving with my permit at the time...so i juss ran...maybe a few months down the road...i let one of my friends drive my car to his house...well on the way back...he got hit by an accord...and the driver side of the bumper fell off but i zipped tied it bak on...and it fucked up my corner light...im not really sure how much i got bak from the insurance cuz my pops said we got nuttin bak...but i noe that ***** took that money and used it for himself...then maybe a month or 2 later...i was driving on the interstate when i felt my car shakin and when i got to my friends house...i noticed that 3 lug studs broke off the rear passenger tire...i had replaced the lug studs and that tire with a 2004 si rim...and a couple weeks ago...some ***** stole that rim and replaced it with a donut and stripped a lug stud once again...so im kinda ridin on 3 lug studs in the bak...for now...and like 2 weeks ago...i was drivin down the street next to my friends house when my driver side tire pop off and stripped all the lug nuts off with it...it fucked up my fender but my friends fixed up the hub and rotor and everything else...well i kinda thought to myself that the fat fives were "bad luck" so i sold them...hopefully nuttin else goes wrong...

Haha, yeah my Del Sol was cursed. The car I had before it, I drove for almost 2 years without ever hitting anything. The car I have now I've been driving for over a year and never hit anything (even slid off the road with 4 other cars going 65mph when the ******* forgot to put sand on a bridge the one day that everything iced over).
My del sol; totalled withing 6 months. One day coming home following my other friend that had a del sol, I got sideswiped by someone merging onto the highway. Another day my windshield conveniently fogged up at 1am after dropping a friend off in an area i've never drove to, saw a stop sign too late and slid through a fence and off an embankment onto a tree. Then one day going home from work a guy pulled out in front of me from a dead stop, I had to slam on my brakes and slid into the back of his volvo, which caused no damage to his car but f'd mine up. The hood wouldn't latch down anymore so it was bungied down because of this, and another day on my way to work the bungie broke and the hood hit my windshield at 65mph, cracking it up, curling up the hood, and denting the top of my car. I got the fender and front end perfectly aligned and fixed again. Finally, one day driving home from a friends house there was a truck with his high beams on stopped at a sign pointing directly at me at the start of a turn. I couldn't tell if the truck was going through the intersection or was sitting still, and couldn't see anything but his headlights, well I slowed down to 35 by time i got to the curve, couldn't see the road, slid down another small embankment, avoided the telephone pole, and nailed a guidewire to the pole which pulled my front end back to the axle and totalled my car before snapping. The truck pulled up, stopped and watched, then drove off.
The sol was cursed. If anyone is interested in pictures I guess I can search for them.
