I beat a 1983 Chevy Camaro Z28 in my CRX highway..

Those newer Z28's run like.. a mid 13 I think?

I'd go with a nice B series setup. I got love for the D's but B's definitely own them.

I saw a kid with that same setup run a 15.1 in a 90 DX Hatch, then again he was a sucky driver.

Thats me racing a buddies Z28 w/ a 60shot. He use to run high 12's.

That was back in the day with my turbo ls/vtec, and boost was cranked up to around 12-13psi. So roughly 280ish whp.

A 1.5l dpfi aint gonna cut it. Maybe slap a vtec head on, a good clutch and a good HMT kit. Depending on how good you can drive you may dip into the low 13's or high 12's. Basically its going to take about 225+ whp to beat him.
