At first we were thinking of finding a good quarter panel and weld in place of that rusted spot, but looking for a quarter in better condition is almost impossible. So what we cut out the rusted metal, leaving no rust at all. Then use lot of fiberglass and just reshape it. Do not do this if you don't have the neccessary skills to, my friend has some good skills and it took us awhile.

As you can see from this pic, the rust got all the way up to the top of the wheelwell, but it is now no longer there.
