i think its amazingly retarded how little people know what the ---- a cross over cable is :1

so im posting it up on hmt :1

Rx and Tx are swapped from normal cat5 ethernet cable. It's used for direct computer-computer interface with no router or hub or the like.

And they sell them at my local Radio Shack for $2.99. But they don't work so good for playing 1 copy of a game on two computers simultaneously. Anything other than that, and they are great.. But so is a nice wireless router. Anyway
