Default A couple of fiberglass projects

A while back I posted my unfinished subwoofer box that I made for my sol. Here are the finished pics...

Each sub is directed towards each seat.

Top view. The two seams I made didn't come out quite as symetrical as I wanted, but let me tell you - that was a bitch sewing the vinyl to make sure it contoured perfectly with the box. This is actually the second time I covered the box.

The box runs right in-line with the center console. It almost looks like the car was made with it.

I had a 4th gauge lying around, a Voltmeter, and I needed to do something with it. I fiberglassed a little pod to go next to my stereo...

I don't know why this picture turned out so bumpy-looking...

Close-up... This seem was ------- rediculous, I also had to make two of these to get it right.

Fiberglass is good stuff once you get the hang of it, and plus it smells really good.

yes it does.... then you find yourself laying on the floor in the garage wondering why you didnt open the door, and why you have a nose bleed...

I was actually trying to learn how to work with it, but it got too messy and i was tired of beeing all itchy, that and i couldnt find anything that would get the resin off of my hands...

good work on the box.... came out pretty clean...

Why put all the time in the box (which looks very good) and then put Sony Xplods in it?

Hah no way man the A pillar looks amazing IMO. If anything I would get rid of the voltmeter pod... it didn't come out as well as planned and it takes away some leg room for tall passengers.
