a couple EF questions
okay here are just a couple questions.... im definetly not sure about how other models are....
i have a 91 DX civic hatchback.. and i was wondering,
is there another civic model i can use for the power windows and get rid of my manual ones?
what tranny is probably the best for the track? (i have a d16y7 swapped in)
im sure there is more but right now its 2 30 AM and i cant think..... thanks

Re: a couple EF questions
power windows are just another thing to break.
As for trannies, what track are you referring to? Drag/Autocross/Road race
The first two prefer close ratio, so buy an SI or ZC, for Road Race, it depends on the track and the car, if your car can handle a certain corner at say 75mph, you may want a DX tranny to avoid having to shift for a turn, Some guys just up their rev limiters to be able to make a certain turn without shifting, but I'd prefer a safe motor and slightly longer gears. You should be focusing on weight transfer and braking, not shifting for road racing. Plus with enough power and a light enough car, the dx tranny does just fine. I've got one of each so I can change if I feel like it.
