if i remember correctly the reason those cops arrested that guy was for selling crack and they hit him because he kept trying to grab his gun, i think police should be allowed a certain level of force depending on the situation and who they are dealing with.

around here (i live in a small town) all the cops are cool to me because i talk to them and they know that i am not a troublemaker, sure i speed and run 3" open downpipe, but all my ---- is legal and they don't ever pull me over, they do drive down my street every 30 minutes and i really appreciate that, because i don;t have to worry about some ------- punk kid trying to steal my car.

this cop seemed a little excessive:

------ kids, lol, what happened to the good ole days where they just took you out to the country and beat your ***?

Umm....the guy they were "beating for no reason" was obviously wanted for something and resisting arrest. If he hadn't resisted arrest none of that "abuse" would have happened. Also, that person making sure police act in an ethical and legal manner is a convicted felon. Yeah, I'm sure he has an unbiased opinion on police.....BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN CAUGHT BREAKING THE LAW! OMG wow of course you're going to be mad at cops for getting caught breaking the law and of course the cops are in the wrong for catching you breaking the law.

Well, once again if you run from the cops and resist arrest, they will be using a certain amount of force to capture you. When you take off running from a cop who is trying to stop you, yes that will get you thrown on the ground and handcuffed. When you approach an officer in the middle of a hostile situation in an agressive manner, you will be taken down regardless of who you are or how old you are or who your mom is. Kids have been known to shoot cops on a regular basis. It would be dumb of the cop to let those little ***** get away with running from him. That just shows they don't give a ---- and aren't willing to obey the laws and have no respect for the law and if they would have got away with it, they would know that they can in the future and will do it again. Run from a cop and see what happens and then bitch about it. ------- smart.

I have no sympathy. Jump in a lions cage with a piece of steak around your neck and then blame the lion for biting you.

cops should be able to use force. if a cop is trying to arrest you... it's for a reason! ---- i wish people who say cops shouldn't use force and do stupid things should go live in europe. they don't have police brutality laws... u ---- up and a cop is going to woop your ***. when i was in highschool my school took a trip to europe and there were some protesters sitting so a train couldn't come into a station. the conductor said please close the blinds as cops in riot gear were walking over. not even 5 min later the train was pulling in. those people got beat off the tracks and no one batted an eye. we are lucky are cops can't beat the ---- out of us for showing them disrespect.

cops are cops for a reason and they have to do what they have to do to keep order.

The way I see it. The moment you decided to commit a crime, any crime. You have just given up all your rights. + 1 for the cop, I bet that little ---- on the ground thought twice the next time.
