oh yeah even though I like hondas, I like the contour SVT's too. My girl has a 4 cyl contour, it's nice for what it is, so I could only imagine the SVT version.

My freind has a svt its a great car besides the resale value 
It dominated most of the imports in dallas with just a 75 shot intake exhaust and a few other things hes currently building a custom kit for it.

they're decent for the money..
v6, 6spd tranny, trick parts like extrude honed IM.
and Johnny.. u forgot evo8, wrx STi, str-4, ford lightening, ram srt-10, ws-6 trans am,
ya.. not many :/

no they didnt start making them untill 98 and the only contour svt ive seen that has been fast was one that had a twin turbo 3.0 therefore the only part on it that is still stock is the engine but i would love for some one to change my mine so show me a fast one that still has the stock lower end or at least stock block

ohh and no its not not good for the money its a 2.5 v6 so its not big and its only a five speed with reverse lock out witch is gay and the fucis has the six speed

Is that the same V6 used in the Cougar? There a local guy around here with a V6 Cougar with a 3.0 bottom, run's low 14's, no bottle or boost. I bet it would be a animal with a turbo.

Those cars look nice but are notorious for having electrical issues. That's why my friend sold his.

nice post random-ford.... contours are ----, i drove a svt cobra and was not impressed. my dads friend has a c5 vette..also not fast.
