computer question
okay so lastnight i was drinkin with a friend and i asked him if he knew anybody selling a laptop for cheap. he said no but his crack head friend said he knew a guy that ha a big computer and pointed to my tower and said it was twice as tall as that (right then i was thinking server). so he called the guy and he said he wanted $80 for it. we went over and checked it out and i talked him down to $30. i opened it up and it has two hard drives, a zip, cd, and a floppy drive. but here is the question, the IDE from the hard drives is too big to fit into any slot on the motherboard. what am i supposed to hook it up to? or what adapter am i supposed to buy for it? i really want to hook this bitch up so i can see what it has on it.

Re:computer question
If they are SCSI drives there should be a SCSI card. Swap out the card into your computer unless it's a 64-bit card then ur fuxor cause putting a 64-bit card on 32-bit bus slows it down but if you just want space you can use it.

Re:computer question
Oh yeah I am selling a laptop cheap, I guess. Its a IBM 390 has a Pentium 2 266mhz, 128mb RAM, 4.3 Hard Drive, Onboard Modem, PCMCIA card with another modem and 10/100 NIC, 1 usb port, 1 parallel port, 1 serial port, 1 ps2 port. Battery last little over an hour when fully charged. Comes with battery charger and car charger also. Asking $150(what I paid without car charger, paid another $25 for that) I'll do my best to get some pictures up soon. Everything works and has no problems. Windows 2000 and Office 97 Pro. Will do fresh install of both if you like.
