Default compression tester stuck in head.....(pics)(and ****)

did a google search through HMT and a few posts did come up. but it still wont let me view them. so heres my experience with it.

this is the comp. tester i have been using. used it several times no problem. checked compression monday morning, everything is fine. started putting back spark plugs and boots and i notice that one boot doesnt go all way in. look down in there and i see that the adapter(labeled #1 in the pic)is still stuck in there. i have tried several different things to get it out.

First attempt. i screw the compression tester back in.........try to carefully unscrew it back out. adapter stays put.

Second attempt. out of my 250 pc socket wrench set......none of them fit.(too thick)

Third attempt(DRASTIC and drunk). i get a really long phillips head screw driver and hammer it.(guy i talked to online recommended it, worked for him.) i was trying to get the sucker wedged into the little hole at the bottom. was almost working. destroyed 2 screwdrivers at $5 a piece and my hand.

Fourth attempt i JBweld that sumbitch back together. i dabbed the little piece(#2 in the pic)screw it back down. works fine. took a flash light and saw that it didnt touch anything else. next day(today. its cured.) but damn thing still wont move. all it does is make the rubber tube coil up inside it.

Fifth attempt....wd40 sucks *** and never really works right. so i go and get some pb blaster.

---- works wonders. its like wd40 on crack. spray a very "liberal amount"(almost filled the plug cylinder up). wait a while and it still doesnt budge. i know the pb worked its way down cause now theres not much in there. i decide to get a vice grip to get ahold of the tube a little better. definatly helped but the damn thing still didnt turn. so i start turning more while pulling back on it ever so slightly..........and then this happens

yea. not only is piece #2 still stuck in there but know piece #1 is jbwelded to #2 and #2 got jerked off the tube .

Sixth attempt is tomorrow. ive been told that there are some really long and thin needle nose plyers that are like a vise grip. this is my last idea before pulling the head. which i dont have the time or resources to do it. and because of tuition i have absolutly no money.

any more suggestions would be MUCH appreciated. because right now i feel

Pull the head and then buy a Snap on compression tester like mine I would try a needle nose vise grip and maybe you can get ahold of it.

just go off the phone with a guy. he says that theres a lug nut wrench made specifically for when someone strips a lug nut off a high dollar rim. instead of having the socket indentions or whatever, it has a little rubber ring inside it. that might could work. dont really have anything to grind down a socket though

are you sure the 5/8 socket still doesnt fit in there. You do know part #1 has a 5/8 bolt/nut whatever you want to call it attached to it. Last time piece 1 and 2 separted when i was checking my compression i thought i was SOL. Dropped the 5/8's down there and unbolted it out.

no grinder. not much cash to buy one.

ill check the 5/8ths tomorrow. its possible i did look over a few. it was hot as hell and i was pissed. im praying that works. only thing im worried about is the fact #2 now sticks probably another 1/2 inch up from the original adapter. until then im driving to class in my moms v6 auto t-bird. slow *** POS with just sloppy ----- like suspension. cant stand driving that car
