jung: Thanks... i try to keep up the quality of what i post Been around here since near the beginning of time (or the board, in '02.. hehe). Can't always judge a member by his/her postcount The prototype that we're building now may be destroyed in the mold making procedure... IF it survives, it will find a new home in our lobby as a mock-up... going to make it look like the front end is bursting out of the walls.. front wheels/tires and all.. should look cool. But, you will likely be able to buy a copy of this front end. I don't know pricing now though, have to wait and see what it'll cost to make one from the mold first.

Whitey: Thanks Yea, this is the car with the waic in the bumper... i'm going to be making another waic setup with this new front end, and the waic that was one the car is now actually going to be going onto my project truck that i'm building at the same time i'm building this car:

Concept Photo:

More pics of the truck project here: http://www.rpiracing.com/RPI_Picture...ma/default.htm

ShortA: Yea, this is the same car as that one in the pics... just moving it to the next level, thats all.. haha.

Damn, I'm jelous of the Tacoma. I wanted to do some work to a 2WD Toyota truck before I bought my hatch, but Jeff called me a homo and told me to buy a real truck.

I'll be checking up on that project.

Dr Boost: If you only knew more about the engine that is in the Tacoma, i think you'd be kicking yourself for not getting one and ------- with it... screw what Jeff thinks (LoL... i love ya Jeff haha! )... when he gets his *** wasted by a little pickup truck with nothing but rods, pistons and a valve job (stock head, and cams) making 550-600hp EASILY, i think he'd change his tune LoL...

SETI: You've got PM.

could you post some pics of the new setup (I'm guessing you changed it)?? Also, was that a split turbine you were using?

Whitey: I don't really have any pics of the 'setup' as a whole, but i do have pics of the new motor... looks similar to what was in it a long time ago, but it is drastically different.

The motor started life as a B18C1. It has a GE deckplate, with 84.5mm Arias pistons, and custom length Crower rods. Stock GSR stroke. I'm still using the same manifold, but i will be modifying it for dual wastegates, and also the turbo has to be tilted slightly different due to the different mounting position of the motor, so i have to mill the flange off to weld on another one.

you can see the deckplate here:

Yea, still running nitrous on it... planning for just a small shot, but i may bump that up considerably, we'll see

If there were other pics you wanted to see Whitey, let me know.

Oh, also, it is not a split turbine housing on the turbo

hmmm, not sure how to respond. I know the front end has function, but the average moron who just stepped out of fast and the furious theaters is going to think it's cool, thus I call it rice. I do ---- ghetto because I know people think it's shitty, the good news about that is they don't want it so nobody steals my ----. I'm not saying you're a ricer for having that, since I know it's function, but since the average moron will think it's cool it fits my definition of rice.

what engine is that in the tacoma? the sticker on my valve cover says f2nzr73, do I have a winner? my truck is for sale by the way.
