The 15's just look too small to me. Will the 16's make that much of a difference in performance, honestly? I mean if I go with a 205/40 or 205/45 in 16's on these light weight rims wouldn't that be about the same as my stock steelies with tires?

if you go w/ the 205/40's it won't be that bad. as long as you don't go w/ anything bigger than a 16 w/ some 205/40's or 45's, you'll be fine
