Clutch slipping w/ only 25k miles?!?!?! whatdafuck?
so i'm driving along on my way to school this morning and i hop on the parkway in fourth. I downshift to third and let the clutch out-then when i step on the gas to get into the groove of traffic the car just revs up to like 6k and doesn't move so i keep giving it gas and it grabbed.... how the ---- is this possible?? Obviously it's a fucked up clutch but this is my sisters 2003 rsx a 100% stock car with no nonsense on it, this thing isn't one of my cars that i abuse. Allthough i abuse it...it hasn't even gotten half of what i do to my cars... :P
So i called the dealer before anything to see if this would be under warranty and they said it's wear and tear and "on that particular car it's around 1600 to change the clutch"-------- crook. If any one in NY wants to change the clutch or help me i'll toss them a couple hundred.... lets first see if my sister did this or not though.....

The worst thing about that was that a couple weeks after she parked the car in brooklyn and some one back into the bumper and fucked that ---- up so it got painted over anyway....i could of just bought the bumper and left that ---- black if i knew that was going to happen....
i live on long island...but i drive into the city a lot and so does she so thats probably what happened to it...

Haha True City driving does eat up a clutch but 25k miles seems a little too low for me to be comfortable with saying it's just the city driving... I'd see if Acura will warrantee it at least. It might not be considered general maintenence since theres that low milage. Worth a shot
