Just a easy way to diagnose this, get a large screw driver/pry bar. Crawl underneth your car and see if you can move the crank pulley either way.. just keep doing it back and forth to see how much play there is. Most motors really dont have much. But 2nd gen dsms with a aftermarket clutch, some miles on the motor and has been punished racing a few times its actually a pretty common thing. Crank walk blows ***,

Re: Clutch is sinking on my AWD Eclipse
its not crankwalk, the rpms would lower when i pressed the clutch, i have an act 2600 which is heavy and the cluth pedal is really hard, when i press the clutch fast, everything is ok, its only when i rest my foot slightly on the pedel the clutch pedal sinks slowly, its not a big deal when im driving the car, its just annoying because i know its happening, i was thinking that the fluid is going through the seals but the mast cylindor is new

I saw "clutch is sinking" and kinda went aww man that sucks but then came the kicker "awd eclipse" and then I went OOoooooooo and then understood, Good luck sir but the dsm curse will most likely strike again!!!!!!
