the pin connecting the slave cylinder to the fork could be bending.

Lol, hate to say this, but sounds almost like crankwalk, how many miles on the motor and was it doing anything like this before?

WTF would the crank play have to do with his problem?

I don`t think crank walk will cause enough paly for the pedal to "sink" to the floor

the crank pushes away from the clutch, causing it to act like the clutch is acting up. its one of the signs of crankwalk..

and yes donald it will cause enough play.

Just a easy way to diagnose this, get a large screw driver/pry bar. Crawl underneth your car and see if you can move the crank pulley either way.. just keep doing it back and forth to see how much play there is. Most motors really dont have much. But 2nd gen dsms with a aftermarket clutch, some miles on the motor and has been punished racing a few times its actually a pretty common thing. Crank walk blows ***,

its not crankwalk, the rpms would lower when i pressed the clutch, i have an act 2600 which is heavy and the cluth pedal is really hard, when i press the clutch fast, everything is ok, its only when i rest my foot slightly on the pedel the clutch pedal sinks slowly, its not a big deal when im driving the car, its just annoying because i know its happening, i was thinking that the fluid is going through the seals but the mast cylindor is new
