The only thing I can think of is that the two diaphragms are binding up and not sliding well on each other. Since they are binding there is way too much effort needed for the throw out bearing to push in the PP? That's just a shot in the dark though.

With OBD0Edit or the old Ghettodyne's you can make som changes to the PJ1 rom...I did it ones, but never burned it. But it's only in NA....no boost and no ignition tuning capability kinda sucks....you can get a Pm6 and convert to electronic ignition...get the dizzy to and fabricate something to make the dizzy fit.
