why dont you guys run the car with a big bottle of chevron techron on like 2 gal of gas? Ive personally seen guys who had a dead miss on 1-2 cyls due to plugged injectors and after running techron the car ran real good...

i most certainly agree. some good fuel injector cleaner in a concentrated for=about 2 gallons of gas would clean up the injectors real good. i recomend running fuel injector cleaner on a daily driven car atleast once a month though.
this way of cleaning the injectors with an air pump rocks though and it's a bullet proof way to clean the injectors.
reasons like this thread are the reasons why i'm so hooked on this site.

well, ive had a problem with my injectores recently. i mean my rx7 has been flooding and i simply ran it with 87, some premix, some injector cleaner, and then driving the car past redline a phew times in a couple of gears. it must have cleaned out the injectors really good. i figured i would do this since i read in my workshop manual ( the one over 100 bucks ) and it says that when you go past the redline in my car, it runs the injectors at max duty cycle. i guess the premix/gas/injectorcleaner really helped with that too. i dont know if you can do that on any other engine.
