cleaned my plugs today...
yep, i cleaned my NGKs' 4091 v power plugs. they're one step colder than the regular ngks'. i ran them for about 40 miles while the vafc wasn't dyno tunned and my car was running way too rich. i got my car dyno tunned about a month ago and i took out the plugs today and the looked normal with just a little bit of black. i sprayed paint stripper on them and the electrode and the tip came out like new gray metal color. i regapped them they where at .0030 & .0029 and i originally set them at .0028. just noticed a smoother throttle response and a bit more power.
that paint stripper works good, the carbon just came off after 4 minutes of soaking. i rinsed them out real good. just thought it'd be better with the stripper than with a wire brush.

naw, i was just surprised to see how clean the paint stripper left the plugs. the electrode and the metal hook that goes over it are completely free of carbon. only part that didn't come out as clean was the thread that goes into the head.
