Default Classic Muscle Car

I was talking abouts cars with a guy I work with today and he mentioned he was getting an edelbrock power package (intake, cams, carb), headers, and exhaust for his torino. I have talked with him about his torino before, but I didn't find out until today that it only has 33,000 original miles! He just had it detailed and holy ---- the thing looks like it was brand new right off the show room floor. His grandpa bought it brand new in 72 and it has been sitting in a garage for the last 10 years. Everything on it is completely stock except for the wheels and tires he put on. I told him to take good care of that and keep it as stock as possible because you don't really find old muscle cars in this good condition anymore. Here is a link with a couple pics.

If I had that thing I would turn it into the "Cobra" model and drop in a nice big block.

That color makes baby jesus cry.
Cool car tho, even if he changes parst as long as the originals are kept and nothing that cant be changed back is altered then ---- yah, do it, all these rich ****** that are buying and selling big dollar hemi cars, and copo cars etc are nuts, you have a bunch of suit wearing homo's that if they actually drove the cars they covet would stain the seat with ---- the first time it got squirlly....nothing on teh planet feels as cool as a gazillion pndft of torque attached to your foot...

My dad had one of those... Piece of ---- I tell you, the drivers door didn't work so he strapped a bungee cord around the steering column and hooked it to the door. It was pretty reliable for what I remember though.

I dig my older cars moreso then all the other cars I've ever owned. Nothing like 2 out of 3 cars your drive are able to get collectors plates I can see more eye to eye now with older muscle car people then import people around my area.
