Default Civic recommendations

Baby due next month and things are tightening up a bit, so the Cobalt has to go. I'd love to get a WRX or and 03/04 Cobra but can't afford it, so I'm headed back the Honda way. I had a CRX before and loved the car to death but it was in pretty sore shape I leaving for the Army left me short of time to give it attention. I'm wondering if I can get the wonderful CRX driving experience out of an EG or and EK? I don't want to go any later that 2000 to keep cost down and the ones past that time just don't really appeal to me.

Was the EG hatch the only one to have the little tailgate thing?

EG. cheap to get cheap to repair cheap cheap cheap. with a set of slightly stiffer springs(not too stiff for baby) they handle fairly well as well. If you want a more compliant ride get an EK, they handle well but wouldn't be as harsh

wagon with a built h22/23 would be PIMPPPPPP. you would be the coolest dad at the nursery.

Or just go with a k-swapped odyssey. k-series gayness but its kool cause its in a van.

I would suggest a 4 door. You will kick yourself in the *** everytime you have to take that baby out of the car if you get a 2 door.

I think 4dr EG or EK can be made fun to drive. Not super small and sporty like a rex but I had a 4dr EG that had a stock ITR suspension besides the 5 lug and it was fun. Stock shock/springs with ITR lca's and swaybars. It did have the 5 lug but the guy I bought it from pulled that off and left everything else. It's just an option to look at.

I was thinking 4dr also boost, I won't be karting the kid around too much in it. Getting the wife a Jeep Patriot for that, and I loves a stiff ride.
