yes the EG hatch it awesome unfourtunately they arent the most common hatch. as for the VX they are light but if i was going to do that i would rather go with a 92-93 CX i think they are the same weight. I like the coupe cause you have the space when you need it, of course its heavier but hey. Another thing to help in my decision is the size of the car, the front seats in the CRX looks like there is as much room as in like an old 89 prelude. if they are big inside then The CRX would be the winner.

96 CX Hatch back 2,222LBS 100ish LBS more than EG CX or VX but with better styling in my opinion or go hard core and get 88 HF
