Whitey was that neon the gray primered one what was his name...carpenter, I remember seeing that and thinking how gay he was for doing that!

Yea unless you are making a show car I wouldn't chop it cause you are just making a piece of trash on wheels, my 2 cents...Matt

Listen you need to do some research on the web google is your friend. But ill entertain the idea. I work for a body shop so here we go. 1st reinforce the frame-look at things like the delsol. Also your definately going to want to measure the cutting straight-youd be pimpin if you had a crooked topper. While reinforcing the frame you can just weld some extra support beams if you want to do it right but if you dont just find some jb weld. Now go have fun and when it falls apart because you didnt take it to a custom shop the first time post up some pics if your still alive when it falls apart as your driving down the road.

Yo dude don't use jbweld. You will kill yourself. The proper way to chop a top is to measure in the center of the pillar and then measure half the distance of what you want to chop it on both sides of that line. make sure that you are very precise. This will make it fit much better and go on easier. You have to bend the pillars to make them line up. Once you get it all lined up weld the whole seem. No tack welds. Now have fun tring to put the interion back in and finding new windows. If i were you I would just cut the whole top off and make it a drop top. Looks way cooler and is much easier. Just weld a bar across the where the b pillar used to be
