Default Check valve????? how does this work???

I saw in the FAQ section somethin on check valves. What are they and what do they do Also how do you install them. I want to make sure i do everything right!! plus i dont want my engine light on!

ive had a few beer and probably dont make much sense so ill draw you a diagram.

ill color code it for you

red = inlet and outlet
blue = plunger or ball bearing
green = spring




what it does is normally there is vacuum pressure and it sucks the plunger down and doesn't change anything. but when there is positive pressure in the line from boost it pushes the blue plunger up and releases the air into the atmosphere, therefore making the air in the line neither positive nor negative pressure.

thats funny guys. so check valves keep the map sensor from seeing over psi right? why do you need 3? wont one work?

adding more than one relieves reduces the chances of failure from what I understand
