Why not run an IRC server for live chat?
Depending on what OS this runs, UnrealRCd is distributed for both Windows and UNIX based systems. Very configurable, and secure. Plus, we could chat live. Ask questions.. bullshit around..
Jeff, there are also web IRC clients you can embed right into the page. Then when a user logs into the forum, they can go to the web IRC client, and thier username will populate the IRC channel..

my tow truck is a 96 mazda b2300 lowered 3"/4" w/2.3l 4 cylinder.
i jackknifed my crx into it while towing.. it boosted the 80 ft lbs of torque to 96!!
it is way ghetto now i got my stereo jacked/window smashed so i fabricated a window for it out of plexi.
