I can't believe he turned them down. I'm pretty sure he must be getting some money from them for the next season they are showing. So he just called it quits?

i heard that rumor too...he had a huge contract so im guessing that in order to get out of it without much penalty i guess he gave the rights to the sketches he already had done for the 3rd season

He was supposed to get 50 million dollars, that's including a share of the DVD sales, for seasons 3 and 4. He only made a few sketches and called it quits, he never has really say why, just vaguely rumors say that he did not like the direction the show was taking, and that the company heads would not give him the artistic freedom he wanted.
The guy is already rich, and humble enough to say ---- YOU all and your money.
I really miss the show, I would hope they could somehow get it going again, and not just a few episodes, but continue with the seasons, but it seems either Comedy Central or him are not willing to make peace.
Sucks for all of us.
Carlos Mencia is ok, but he aint no chappelle.

I liked him when he first came out but he got really annoying real quick. Back in the day when they had Reno911 and all those shows Comedy Central kicked ***. Now it ------- sucks

Well carlos mencia is not mexican but he's always trying to pass as one, and doing the beaner jokes. It gets annoying and you can see he is trying to hard to be funny. Oh and he scream way too much, I feel like saying dude, you have a mic right in front of you, take it easy. I like the show, but not as much as chappelle's.
Chappelle, and most black comedians, are just naturally funny and laid back.
I use to watch Comedy Central more before, now I only watch the Daily Show, this ---- is funny. Now the Colbert report is pretty funny, I guess is a spinoff of the original, but Colbert is funny.
