I spend it where I make it, God bless America
That's easy for you to say, but what you may not realize is that the majority will NOT pay the prices we'd have to get for some of the "made in America" stuff to be able to stay in business. We've been driven out of a few markets in our 10+ years in business with Chinese krap (and I don't mean quality product, I mean KRAP) because someone came along selling the same "looking" thing (not better quality by any means) at less than we could even buy the materials to build it. And people BOUGHT IT. Yes, we had a few people still buying that wanted "made in America" but not enough to keep a small business afloat. People see "cheap" and although there are people like you who "buy American" the "American way" for most is about how cheap they can get it. Just ask Sam Walton! Most don't even give a ---- if it breaks after six months. They can buy another one and still have more money in their pocket than if they'd bought the American product. Jesus, we've done group buys right here on HMT for intercoolers for $130.00 SHIPPED and damned if we don't get at least three emails a day asking if we'll sell it for $100.00 or $110.00.

We're trying to compromise by selling a mixture of everything and being VERY CAREFUL that it's only QUALITY stuff! We also actually KNOW what the hell we sell and actually use it ourselves and on customer cars. We got samples of some stuff and said FORGET IT. Complete garbage. Most of those Ebay jerks don't even know what it is they're selling! If you ask a technical question, they can't tell you a thing. We intend to STAND BEHIND the product (unlike some I could mention). Hell, stuff goes wrong with the genuine Garrett turbos we sell!! They're CAR PARTS - stuff goes wrong! It's what you DO about it that makes the difference.

well be prepared to go out of business by selling more product. 80 percent of those turbos you sell will be coming back to you for a refund. then your out product, and your profit.

Oh I defniitely do realize. I'm just not going to be one of those people. I just bought an American made K-member for my car and it costs me $300 more than if I would have gotten a Chinese one off of Ebay. I know alot of people are not willing to do that, I'm part of the minority that is willing to pay if the option is there.

Its a shame you have to sell your soul to be competitive. Change the title from going "big time" to "comprimising to crap"

I already know a place. 55 for an obd2a/b - obd1 harness 75 for obd 0-1 and 75 for obd1-2a or 2b-2a (for apex power fc) and 100 for any custom harness.

Bring on the low cost Chinese parts I could sit around and cry about jobs lost etc but that reality is I couldnt afford to eat or live in North America if it wasnt for low cost off shore manufacturing.
