My insurance is $517 every 6 months($86/month) and I'm 23 with only one speeding ticket on my record. I thought it was worse than that, but it's been over 3 years since I've been a bad boy. This is the first time in 4.5 years I have had insurance so I guess I can't complain about the price considering how much I have saved.

i pay rougly 107 a month for broadform (just libilaty, but my lisence is inshured, i can drive ANYTHING) and Im on my own.

but yes, that could very easil total your car. a scratch from the headlight to the taillight would cost around 1500, to fix and if its only worth 1500.... it becomes a total.

i pay 200 every 6 months for insurance on my license because they want 275 a month for liability on my car and that was the cheapest i found. i'm 25 but i have a speeding ticket and a negligent driving second degree ticket (didn't have that when i was getting quotes).

Well I work for geico insurance i am a claims adjuster in florida. Basicly on ur auto mobile insurance policy it sounds like u have comprehensive coverage. With comp covg it will cover fire, lightning, wind, water, theft, partial theft and vandalism damage, i might hav eleft a few out but u understand what i mean. With comp coverage, things that are stolen out of ur veh that are noat attached to veh are not covered under comp, such as cd's, nitrous, etc...Things that are covered are attached items such as stereo, seatbelts, seats, etc....If any of these attached items are aftermarket such as stereo, seatbelts, seats, body panels, like ur body kit, it needs to be endorsed on ur policy. by endorsed i mean call ur insurance company and say i need to make endorsement to my policy, advise them of all the aftermarket goodies u have...A insurance company who insures ur car is insuring it for its stock parts not aftermarket, so if u dont endorse and they are stolen, stereo, seats etc, or someone keys ur car and kicks the ---- out of ur kit, then it will not be covered...So please if u want to have ur stuff insured properly call ur insurance and tell them what is going on with aftermarket stuff...And the fact of a crx being totaled as result of vandalism i have seen it before due to the age and cost of repairing a veh taht old, if the cost of repair is 80% of the actual cash value of the veh it will be total loss. There are different ways u can haggle with isnurance if u want to keep ur car if it is totaled, i know we just pay for the 80 % of the damage and let u keep ur car, and make u sign a paper that says u cannot try to get anymore money for this loss...hope this info helps..
